Unorthodox.

That is how you could describe my entrance into the entertainment industry. I had spent years passionately hobby writing with no concept that writing or directing film was a possibility. Then in 2016, after picking up photography for fun I was asked by a friend to help creative direct her music video, and from there my eyes were wide open.

This revelation took me all the way to Los Angeles where I ended up working (pre-pandemic) for major studios like Universal, companies like Target, and music artists like Wallows.

Though my home base is Houston, I travel all over the United States for work. My main focus alongside developing the personal brand of Nourmal Productions is developing a vibrant indie film community in Texas and upholding the next generation of indie filmmakers.
